Shot Count Bruno Mars Lazy Song
Although the shot count for this song is just one there are variety of hots of the artist and the dancers because they physically move themselves towards and away from the camera which just stays in the same spot. However i believe the main shot used throughout is a long shot as you can see most of the artist throughout the video. There is lots of representation throughout the video the most obvious one is the shot count the song is called lazy song so wit their being only one shot throughout the video this represents the laid-back mood of the song.

Lip Sync - Teenage Dirtbag
We started by choosing who we wanted as performers we then asked if the performers could lip sync and perform some form of expressions that would express different parts of the song. After we shot all of the footage we then began to edit the footage and merge the song into the footage. We did so by matching the sound waves from the audio track to the footage we found the easiest way of doing this was inserting markers on the same sound from the audio and matching them up in final cut to produce the finished product.

Music Video Analysis
In this blog i will be explaining in depth the different theories behind analyzing a music video and how these theories are put into practice.
The first theory i will discuss is the theory of illustration. Illustration is where there is a direct link between an action and a lyric. In the music video of Afrojack ft Eva Simons - Take Over Control there is a clip where Eva Simons says plug it in and at that moment a character is placing a plug into her back. This is direct link between the lyrics and the video this is also present in the next line of the song as Eva Simons the says 'turn me on' there is then a spark going from the plug to Eva she then begins to dance. However the lyrics of 'plug it in and turn me on' could also have a sexual reference which is one of the conventions of this genre but in the video they have decided to portray this in a non sexual way.
